***Twilight***

First things first... the movie is not the book.

The book and the movie are completely separate entities. See them separately, embrace them separately, and love them separately.

Besides some... awkward acting in some parts, I LOVED it.

My favorite characters in the movie are completely different than from the book. (Emphasizing on how separate the two are).

Book Favorites: Edward and Alice and Jasper

Movie Favorites: Charlie and Jessica.

Loved Charlie, he was great. I like him better in the movie than I did in the book. He always seemed a little creepy in the book. But in the movie, he's awkward, funny, and definitely not creepy.

Jessica's acting was superb. She played her role perfectly. Which says a lot about her in some ways. Even though it's acting, she plays a good sadistic female role.

Things I liked better than the book:
  1. There was an  attempt at a plot earlier than the last couple of chapters.
  2. Comedy
  3. Eric, he wasn't goofy/nerdy/creepy... he was a fun and outgoing Asian kid.
  4. Rosalie talked.
  5. Jasper... he had crazy eyes, and it was awesome.
Things I liked better in the book:
  1. How Bella found out about vampires
  2. Edward... Robert Pattinson is charming, but, I think he tried (and probably with direction from the director) a little too hard to be menacing and dangerous.
  3. Alice. I thought she was cute, but I wish I saw her more.

Favorite Scene: The baseball game... I grew a great appreciation for Jasper after that scene.
Least Favorite Scene: Beginning scene at the diner with "ButtCrack Santa"
